PL-80980 is 1U Rackmount networking system for general networking tasks. It uses the new Intel® 14nm micro-architecture Skylake-S series 6th generation Core i7/i5/i3 processor and the Intel® H110 PCH. W ith next generation 3 -D tri-gate design, the 6th generation Intel® Core™ processor enhances performance while lowering TDP. A new socket type, LGA 1151 , has been released for this die-shrinking architecture. PL-80980 supports two DDR4 2133 MHz un-buffered / Non-ECC DIMM and maximum memory capacity of up to 32 GB. The powerful storage interface supports 2.5” SATA 3.0 HDD/SSD and has 1 m-SATA slot for basic network storageapplications. PL-80980 supports flexible PCIe port configuration s, either 1 standard PCIe X8 card or 1 PCIe X8 slot for an Ethernet module. Multiple Ethernet modules support: 8x GbE Copper / 8x GbE Fiber / 4x 10GbE Fiber and the maximum 14x GbE Copper ports with BYPASS function. IO features include: one console port, two USB 3.0 ports, a LCD module with keypad, and LEDs to indicate Power/HDD/Status.
